Tewksbury Half Marathon

Tewkesbury 1/2 Marathon, 10th May 2009 A flat, fast course and warmish conditions made for some fast times – another week, another pb for Katherine and Kevin. This week’s masochist was Ian, who ran 5 miles first, did the half-marathon, then ran another 4. Just as well that he won the wine, as he will need to rehydrate. Well done also to Kate and Larry for winning their categories. Now the official results are available it seems that Katherine was 3rd LV45, and not 1st. Anyway, she’s still got her prize and a fantastic pb, so who cares? Kate’s status is obviously well-known in running circles these days, as when she was given her medal the chap presenting said “here you are, ma’am”.
