Candleford Canter Results It was a good turn out by the ladies on Sunday for the Candleford Canter and first congratulations goes to Julie who set her PB over a course that turned out to be continually undulating and partly off road. Marisa brought along her merry band of Run in England Ladies who all completed their first 10k, and by the chattering and laughing afterwards, I think we can say they enjoyed it. With their baselines set, the next challenge for these ladies is the Eynsham 10k with the specific goal, (set by Marisa), of improving the times below. Thanks to our supporters Ian and Graham who stood out in the rain at the start, drank tea in the middle and cheered us in at the finish. Our warmdown was to jog over to the drinks table and fill our newly claimed Candleford Canter travel mugs with hot chocolate and a handful of marshmallow flumps, I’m sure Roger B would approve.
