Ascott Cross Country Results

Very well done to the 40+ ERR members who ran, marshalled, cajoled, shouted, assisted, got muddied, wet, but then warm, at the first cross country (XC) race of the season on Sunday. It was great to see so many runners, of all ages, cheering one another on. The Men’s and Ladies’ A teams put in very solid displays indeed, and are both a well-earned 6th in their respective divisions. The Men’s B team have had their best start to a season in years. There were several junior ERR runners too, which bodes well for the future. Let’s make Race 2 even better … There were 179 finishers in the women’s race, and 293 in the men’s.
