Wednesday, as my literal skills aren’t good and writing is not my best subject (asmy reports from Matthew Arnold showed).
It was an early start on a Sunday morning and a lovely drive through the Oxfordshire countryside get to Henley for the 9.30 set off.
...It’s been almost 8 years and 600 championship miles since I last won the wine draw, but finally my losing streak has been broken!
...This was nearly my first Woodstock 12. Instead, with the race shortened due to the extreme heat, it became everyone's first Woodstock 8.
...This race, which takes in the picturesque Cotswold countryside, has been going for over 30 years.
...Having run for Headington Road Runners for around 8 years in a previous life, I always like to participate in and support their run each year.
