Cirencester Cross Country Results
The course at Cirencester was as challenging and scenic as ever, and not quite as muddy as feared.
We welcomed Caroline for her cross country debut (a nice gentle introduction), and whilst Mark Baker was ill, we at least had Keith back as a like for like replacement.
What with Mark’s absence, along with other missing speedsters, even the welcome return of Robert couldn’t prevent the men from finishing 1 place lower than last time, so at least there’s nowhere lower to go. Basically we need all our fastest runners (and everyone else, for that matter) to be taking part from now to the end of the season if we are to avoid the dreaded drop.
The ERR ladies performed creditably, even if Liz did go the wrong way briefly, and are still in 3rd place in Division 1 for the season overall.
